Treating Patients with Low Bone Mass

Learn how to safely treat patients with osteoporosis and low bone mass.

Welcome to Bone Strong Seminars.

As our population lives longer and longer, we remain active well into the later years of our lives.  This is a healthy advancement for our society, and as physical therapists, we’ve certainly seen an increase in older patients sustaining injuries participating in activities which they would have only watched just twenty years ago.  Physical therapy is quickly becoming a preferred method for rehabilitating injuries, and physical therapists know that well.

Unfortunately, many therapists don’t have the skills and training necessary to treat an increasingly aging clientele who will typically have a higher incidence of low bone mass or osteoporosis than a younger patient.  The risks involved in unknowingly mistreating a patient with osteoporosis can be damaging, and most therapists don’t even know they’re doing it.

Our mission at Bone Strong Seminars is simple – to provide physical and occupational therapists, along with other interested professionals with the latest evidence-based research, information, and education in the management of osteoporosis through seminars, webinars, online forums, and other media.

Bone Strong Seminars is unique as our system employs a hands-on approach to education. Rather than teaching abstract concepts which can’t be applied quickly,  you’ll learn techniques and concepts which you can immediately safely  use in your own practice.
